Lads to Leaders and Leaderettes

We participate in the L to L program. The purpose of Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes is to help our congregation instill the Word of God into our youth and adults so that they will stand firm in the faith.  Teaching students to do “Bible things in Bible ways” is the essence of Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes. Our youth are encouraged to become more involved in the congregation through our year-round events (Bible Reading, Bulletin Board, Speech, Song Leading/Songs of Praise and Puppets). While the main purpose of L to L involves learning more about the Word of God, we do participate in the yearly convention held on Easter weekend in Orlando, FL. At the convention, our students participate in various events against students at the same grade level. The convention allows our youth to learn how to deal with competition in a friendly Christian setting. Competition builds their confidence while motivating and encouraging them to be a servant for the Lord.
And this leadership program is not just for kids! Many of our adults are participating as well. There are many events available for the entire congregation such as Second Language, Good Samaritan, Parade of Leaders, Know the Books and Teach to Teach.
