Welcome to Our Website
The churches of Christ greet you. We are a group of loving Christians who are striving to obey the Word of God by following the New Testament example. We are a part of The Restoration Movement. Our goal is to "restore" the New Testament church in our time - to determine from the Bible what the church was like in the beginning, and to be like that. We believe this is a worthy and reverent goal.
We want and try to be a Bible-centered church with Christ as the head- for He created the church. Our practices are formulated by commandments, inferences, and examples given in the Bible. We obey God not out of fear but because we love Him for He first loved us.
We're a diverse group, coming from varied backgrounds, and at different stages of knowledge and spiritual growth just like the first century church.
We don't claim to know everything, but we do know that God is love and that He is full of grace and mercy made known through Jesus Christ (John 1:16-17).
He wants you to come to Him through His Son so that you can be with Him in heaven. How do you come to Him through His Son? What does it take to be saved and to become a member of the Lord's church? How do you gain access to His wonderful grace and know that you have a home in heaven with Him?
By, first, hearing the gospel of Christ, Romans 10:17. How can you come to God if you don't hear His word and know what His will is?
Next, by believing. Hebrews 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Also, Mark 16:16 says, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." But don't stop here because, as the verse says, just believing in Christ will not get you to heaven. There's more you must do.
The third step is to repent of your sins. That is, turn away from the sin in your life. Feeling sorrowful isn't repentance but it is an attitude that should lead to repentance (IICor 7:8-11). Repentance is your eagerness to change your life in order to please God. This step gets easier once you learn of God's grace. Why repent? Luke 13:3 says one must repent in order to not perish.
Fourth, you must confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Matthew 10:32 says, “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven."
Next, you must be baptized for the remission of sins. In other words, be baptized in order to- so that you may- receive forgiveness of your sins. Forgiveness of sins will not happen without baptism. As previously stated, Mark 16:16 says, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."
Whew! Aren't you glad you didn't stop at the second step?
Becoming a Christian doesn't stop at baptism. The journey has just begun with baptism and many rewards are in store for you if you continue to the next step and that is to...
Live faithfully and be faithful to God. Rev 2:10 says in part, "...be faithful until death and I will give you the crown of life." In other words, eternal life.
God is the source of all truth, and we strive to worship Him reverently and according to His will and according to that great, steadfast, unending love that He has for all of us.

FOOD PANTRY
Matthew 24:34-36 says,
34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ For those in need, we offer a food pantry giveaway every 2nd and 4th Monday of every month from 1pm to 3pm here at the building. Our Twitter feed provides a quick and simple way to communicate real-time notes of encouragement or updates of any changes that may come our way to the congregation.
